Community Benefits
We are at a critical moment in history. If we want our forests to be cared for tomorrow, we must ensure today’s youth can fall in love with them. If we want future leaders in conservation, we must give young people the opportunity to build that connection now.

Supporting the Highlands Official Community Plan
The Cedar Song vision aligns closely with the Highlands' Official Community Plan (OCP) and Sustainability Plan. The District's sustainability impact assessment ranked our initial application exceptionally high.
The OCP states the major roles of the Highlands are to preserve large areas of green space, protect elements of the region's ecosystems, and provide outdoor recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. Our proposal directly delivers on all of these objectives.
